Jozsef Bugovics is a Partner of Quarton International. Before he co-founded Blue Corporate Finance in 2001, he was the CEO and founder of MeTechnology AG which he sold to Brokat AG in 1999. Following this he spent two years as the executive VP of business development and served on the board of directors of Brokat AG where he managed various acquisitions. He also served as the board chairman of MSign, the Mobil Signature Consortium. Moreover, since 2001 he has been owning diverse technology businesses in Digitalization, Health Care, Automotive, Legal Tec, Media, and financial service markets.
Jozsef Bugovics studied process and electrical engineering at the Martin-Luther Universität in Halle. Between 1991 and 1995 he won “Jugend forscht” (a German science competition) twice.
Jozsef Bugovics is married and has three children. He is active in various technologies and holds a large number of patents. He is the winner of several innovation awards. As Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HHL (Leipzig Graduate School of Management), he is committed to international MBA education.
