Quarton Partners advises The Carlyle Group in its sale of ARC Automotive to The Jordan Company.


ARC Automotive, Inc, a division of Sequa Corporation, was acquired by The Jordan Company L.P. Quarton Partners acted as a financial advisor to Sequa Corporation and The Carlyle Group in managing the sale process.


ARC Automotive, Inc. is a global manufacturer that produces a full line of automotive airbag inflators, including driver, passenger, side and curtain. ARC’s global facilities employ over 1,000 people and its products are found on most major automotive OEMs. Headquartered in Bridgeport, Conn., ARC Automotive Inc. has manufacturing operations in Knoxville, Tenn.; Xian, China; Reynosa, Mexico; and Morgantown, Ky. Sales offices are in Detroit, Seoul and Tokyo.
