Continental Plastics Co. has been acquired by Magna International. Quarton Partners acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to Continental Plastics in managing this transaction


Continental Plastics is a leading Tier I/II supplier of interior plastic assemblies and components primarily for the North American automotive industry. Continental Plastics’ products include side wall trim, instrument panel components, door trim, decorative sill plates, upper garnish, soft trim components and overhead lighting components. Continental Plastics has developed strong relationships with a number of customers, including General Motors, Johnson Controls, International Automotive Components, Hanil E-Hwa and Chrysler. The Company operated from five manufacturing facilities located in Fraser, Michigan; Chesterfield, Michigan; St. Clair, Michigan; Benzonia, Michigan and Alpharetta, Georgia.
