SunTel Services, Inc. has been acquired by CBTS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB). SunTel is a leading provider of network security, data connectivity, and unified communication solutions.

The acquisition expands CBTS’ presence in the Midwest, building on its existing sales offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Louisville. SunTel’s co-founders Gary Jackson and Don Jackson will continue to lead the organization and also spearhead CBTS’ expansion in the Michigan market.

“SunTel Services has created a strong business through its focus on providing effective solutions and building long-term relationships with customers,” said Scott Seger, Senior Vice President and General Manager for CBTS. “We believe CBTS’ set of solutions and services will benefit SunTel Services’ existing customer base, and SunTel will help grow our footprint throughout the Midwest.”

“We are excited to be part of the CBTS family and to leverage its expanded set of capabilities,” said Gary Jackson, SunTel’s co-founder. “CBTS is a market leading IT solutions and services provider and shares our customer-focused vision of building trust through execution and delivering value.”
